History
The company traces its origin from the early 1950’s in the textile industry as a leading merchant of that period and still continues as wholesalers of fabrics in the main textile market of the country. The second generation of the family evolved with the changing business environment in the country by venturing into manufacturing in the high growth chemicals, dyes and pigments industry and currently operates as a leading manufacturer exporter. Post-liberalisation the group started the current flagship company, Mahavir Impex, to capture the high growing consumer products sector and commodity trading.
